Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Level 3 Maintenance Technician to support our Facilities Engineering Team located on site in San Diego, CA.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for but not limited to maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, and HVAC.

Job Duties:

  • Customer support includes setting up for site and executive events, coordination with multiple stakeholders and require a high attention to detail

  • Activities may include drywall, patch, paint, build and relocate furniture as required

  • Support Facilities Construction Project Managers on facilities projects and all other assigned job duties and tasks as assigned

  • Plumbing repairs to include water leaks, stoppages, faucets, toilets, and urinals

  • Recognizing HVAC and electrical issues for referral to vendors when required

  • Shift: 4/10 B shift (6:00am-4:30pm/Tues-Fri)

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and/or construction environment

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required

  • Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills

  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current DoD Secret Clearance

  • Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments

Salary Range: $56,600 - $94,300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
