Insight Global IAM Engineer in San Diego, California
Job Description
A large multi-media company is looking for an IAM Engineer to join their team based in San Diego. This person will play an integral role in onboarding new applications, configuring/supporting Okta, and contributing to IAM standardization across the entire organization. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Okta suite of products, able to collaborate with other engineers and developers, and execute on agreed timelines. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of identity management, including account provisioning technologies, role-based access controls. In addition, this person should be proficient in scripting and with API integrations. This resource should not only be able to provide automated solutions to existing manual processes between various applications, but also perform root cause analysis on persistent or major software & application related problems. It is crucial that this person is able to work independently with minimal supervision, while still collaborating with other team members and getting engrained in the organization as a whole.

Skills and Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience working as a Software Engineer
o Specifically, 5+ years of experience working within Identity Access Management
- 2+ years of experience working with Okta
o Configuring SSO, Policies, Provisioning, Universal Directory, Workflows, etc
- API integration experience (PowerShell, Ruby, Python, JavaScript are all acceptable)
- Experience migrating and supporting multiple services from basic authentication to SAML2.0 and OIDC authentication
- Knowledge of life cycle management, role-based access control, identity and access management tools
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Azure AD, Saviynt, or Active Roles experience are plusses
- Ability to work hybrid in San Diego
- Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe) experience is preferred null
