JOB SUMMARY:

Rady Children's Executive Assistants are organized and diligent individuals driven by our goal of "Mission First. People Always." Working behind the scenes, they make a significant impact on the Executives that they support. They are adept at leading and handling a variety of projects, which require the particular talent of being able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Executive Assistants perform varied and sophisticated administrative functions while exercising confidentiality, discretion and independent judgment. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, coordinating intricate scheduling, organizing and implementing programs specific to area of support, triaging and prioritizing incoming requests/issues, and handling issues in a diplomatic and professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent

  • Three years of experience

  • Experience in a professional office environment with progressive reporting relationships

  • Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Access (as needed)

  • Expert level communicator

  • Strategic multi-tasker

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Calm under pressure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Five years of experience

  • Certification as preferred by area of expertise (e.g., Event Planning, Certification in HRD)

  • Experience in area of support (e.g. HR, Finance, Clinical, etc.)

  • Advanced software skills (particularly graphic design and animation)

The expected hiring range for this position is $28.08 to $38.61

The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
