ASM Global Event Operations Specialist-PS in San Diego, California

Event Operations is responsible for ensuring the success of back-of-house logistics setups and event-related details related to the show(s) requests.

Responsibilities Assist Operations Manager with event setup and breakdown of Locker-rooms and Dressing rooms. Set up and take down Seating arrangements around the building. Make repairs and preventative maintenance to the building and parking lot as needed, and as directed by the management team. Load and unload supplies and materials, as needed, and as directed by the management team. Transport materials for delivery, set up, and take down at off-site locations as needed. Assist in construction duties as needed and as directed. Clean up duties as directed by the management team. Hours of work include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, meeting all call times as set by management. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or its equivalency A minimum of 1 year of related work experience Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, basketball floors, terra floors, etc. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event schedule requires. Ability to execute and meet deadlines as well as function in a fast pace environment. Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted. Able to communicate effectively in English. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Forklift certification is not required but is strongly preferred.
