Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Customer Service Representative - CHOC MSO in San Diego, California
This is a casual, contract funded postionwith a current end date of January 31, 2022; position subject to contract renewal.
Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts
FTE: Full-Time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period
Location: Copley Campus
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative's primary job function is to promote favorable relationships with members, providers, and health plans through the prompt, accurate and courteous resolution of issues including but not limited to the following: authorization processing, claim research, coordinating translation services, and Primary Care Provider changes.
High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent
1 year of experience
Customer service experience in a physician office, hospital or other healthcare setting
Knowledge of health plan benefits, claims, ICD-9/CPT coding
Computer skills, including Excel, EZ Cap, Word, Outlook, Access, Epic, and Echo Access
