Robert Half Billing Specialist in San Diego, California

Description

Are you an experienced Billing Specialist looking for a new opportunity to work with an innovative architecture firm? We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our billing operations using Deltek Vantagepoint (or Vision). If you're familiar with fixed-fee billing for construction or architectural projects and have worked with clients such as universities or developers, this could be the perfect role for you!

This is an immediate contract opportunity that is fully remote (working PST hours). The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Vision or Deltake Vantagepoint. You will be supporting with an interim coverage, likely lasting several months in duration.

Generate invoices accurately and ensure all required documentation is attached.

Process billing using Deltek Vantagepoint (or Vision experience with the ability to transition).

Manage a low to mid-volume of invoices (typically 100 or fewer per month), mostly billed at the end of the month.

Coordinate and attach all invoices for fixed-fee projects, including reimbursements and consultant charges, through an integrated system.

Communicate with clients (developers, universities, etc.) regarding billing and ensure collections follow-up.

Collaborate with the Senior Project Accountant for complex project oversight—no reporting responsibilities required.

Requirements • Proficiency in Vantage software is essential for this role

• Previous experience with Deltek and Deltek Vision software is highly desirable

• Demonstrated expertise in the field of billing is a requirement

• Experience in project billing is necessary for the successful execution of job duties

• Candidates must have a solid background in the architecture industry

• Strong communication and organizational skills are required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
