Penske Collision San Diego is looking for a Window/Glass Technician to join our Rapid Repair team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

The Window/Glass Technician diagnoses and performs glass repairs on vehicles with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer/factory standards. A minimum of 1 year of experience in glass repair and replacement is required.

Pay for this position is $32 to $38/hour.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in glass repair and replacement.

  • Proficiency in handling various types of automotive glass.

  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacement.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and handle heavy glass safely.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in glass repair is a plus.
