About the Company:

Robert Half is seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Property Manager on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading company in the residential property management industry. Our client prides itself on delivering exceptional service and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere for its residents.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a residential property portfolio. This role requires a highly organized, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant Relations:

  • Assist in handling tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Help coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all processes are completed smoothly and efficiently.

  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.

  • Property Maintenance:

  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work to ensure properties are well-maintained.

  • Conduct regular property inspections and document any issues or improvements needed.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Leasing:

  • Assist with marketing and leasing efforts, including showing units to prospective tenants.

  • Prepare and process leasing applications, agreements, and renewals.

  • Monitor and manage lease expirations and coordinate renewals or terminations.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, including tenant files, maintenance logs, and financial reports.

  • Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and other documentation as required by the Property Manager.

  • Handle general office duties, such as answering phones, managing emails, and filing documents.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.

  • Assist in managing property insurance, safety protocols, and risk mitigation efforts.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience in property management or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of property management software and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
