Integrits Corporation Acquisition Specialist - PSS in San Diego, California

Summary Individual supports PEO C4I’s PMW 120 by providing a wide range of Program Support Services (PSS), i.e., programmatic and administrative services primarily in the execution of the acquisition requirements defined in the DoD 5000 series. These services will include participating in meetings and telcons across the NAVWAR/PEO C4I Enterprise in support of PMW 120’s product line of systems; developing programmatic type material such as, meeting announcements, agendas, minutes, action items, presentations, schedules, charters, risk metrics; and the development and/or review of other program management related documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides direct support to the assigned Program Manager (PM) and/or Assistant Program Manager (APM) in the execution of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series acquisition requirements, applicable OMB Circulars, Defense Acquisition Guide, and the DoD Guide to Planning Scheduling, etc. for PMW 120 ACAT I-III systems. Generates and maintains program level scheduling documentation, e.g., system/product schedules, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), etc. Generates programmatic material, e.g., meeting announcements, distribution lists, agendas, minutes, action items, schedules, presentations, etc. using Microsoft (MS) Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Outlook e-mail. Participates in various levels of meetings, working groups, telcons, virtual meetings, etc. across the NAVWAR Enterprise and with other SYSCOMS and Echelon I and II commands associated with the PMW 120 product line of systems. Provides risk management services by identifying program risk drivers, dependencies, root causes, and developing risk mitigation/consequence management strategies for the program. Generates periodic status/metric reports using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Generates, reviews, and/or updates PMW 120 acquisition documentation, e.g., Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, Program Management Plan (PMP), Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM), Affordability Estimate (AE), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Cost Analysis and Requirements Description (CARD). Required Qualifications Four (4+) years of experience providing program/project management support services to DoD/Navy acquisition organizations Experience preparing coherent briefings in MS PowerPoint and reports in MS Word for Echelon II senior government executives Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance of a program under the Defense Acquisition System Experience conducting basic programmatic functions of task assignments and tracking of program/project milestones and technical events. Knowledge of DoD and SECNAV 5000 instructions for DoD/Navy acquisition Knowledge of ACAT I, ACAT IV, Middle Tier Acquisition programs Individual needs to be a self-starter, able to work effectively on an individual basis and/or as part of a team; requires limited to no supervision. Ability to show creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems at a program level. Individual must have excellent English communication skills both verbally and written, and experience with standard Navy terminology. Individual must have a sound working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command (NAVWAR, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, etc.) Program Office Bachelor’s Degree Must be able to successfully pass the required drug screening. SECRET Security Clearance (required).
