As a Senior IT Auditor you'll be responsible for coordinating and administering audit projects.

Purpose:

  • High visibility role working with the audit team and business personnel to gain an understanding of key IT processes, risks, and controls across all areas of the business.

  • Uses knowledge of IT frameworks and standards to evaluate complex technical issues.

  • Individual will have the opportunity to advise on IT and cybersecurity projects.

  • Responsible for understanding and documenting moderate to complex business processes in order to assess risk and conduct audit and consulting engagements, as well as special projects.

  • Will participate in audit activities, including planning, test design, and audit report preparation.

  • Able to present audit results to all levels in the organization as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the IT internal audit plan by preparing walkthroughs and developing test programs, as well as conducting internal control testing, substantive procedures, and other special reviews/consulting engagements.

  • Has knowledge of IT governance and security frameworks (e.g, ITIL, NIST CSP, NIST 800-53, ISO), control frameworks (COBIT, COSO), and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with key employees and management within business units to assess risks and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Accountable for meeting deadlines, as well as adhering to department and professional standards.

  • Communicates professionally both in person and writing, including clear and concise communication with the engagement manager and client management.

  • Prepare audit report and ensure audit findings and recommendations are practical and sustainable.

  • Perform follow up on audit observations and management actions.

Contribution:

  • Prioritize work when given multiple projects and work with limited supervision.

  • Effective communicator and analytical thinker who can employ logic and persuasion to influence with diplomacy and tact.

  • Proactive, innovative, and intellectually curious individual who can partner and collaborate with others.

  • Solid understanding of data analysis.

  • Comprehensive understanding of IT (concepts, frameworks, standards), Cybersecurity, Fraud Management, and Internal Control concepts.

  • Ability to travel, typically not to exceed 10%

Education and Experience:

  • Typically a Bachelors degree from an accredited university.

  • Typically requires 3-5 years of experience. Prefer CISA, CIA, CISSP certification.

  • Understanding of NIST, ISO, and other relevant standards required.

Supervisory: No

This position will be based in St. Louis, MO, Dallas, TX or Alpharetta, GA. Office presence on set days each month is required. Relocation assistance is not available.

Our Senior IT Auditor earn between $118,800 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
