Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor blow molding, welding process, and downline assembly and maintain all related equipment

  • Perform any required repairs and maintenance on all production related equipment

  • Collect data and maintain logs on all aspects of the production process and work completed, use data to analyze trends, make decisions, and improvement actions

  • Work with production personnel in recognition of process controls and problems, use their input in addition to your knowledge

  • Record all downtime and/or parts used on scheduled and/or non-scheduled work orders

  • Perform preventative maintenance per scheduled work orders

  • Coordinate necessary changes to the preventative maintenance schedule

  • Ensure compliance to EHS guidelines and procedures, be part of the safety culture, suggest improvements, stop call wait for any questions or concerns

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including execution and suggestions

  • Adherence to quality requirements, engage in quality culture

  • Other duties as assigned

Ergonomic Focus

  • Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a regular basis

  • Some aspects of the job will require repetitive motion

  • Standing for long periods of time depending on shift

  • Significant amounts of bending and twisting

  • Required to climb a ladder & stairs

  • Required to enter confined spaces

Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous technology experience preferred

  • Experience in optimizing blow molding products is a plus

  • Knowledge about energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic) preferred

  • Knowledge of relevant quality control schemes preferred

  • Knowledge of different measure techniques (oz. calipers, gauges) preferred

  • Knowledge of EHS guidelines
