PeopleReady of San Antonio, TX  is now hiring Foremans! Architectural Millwork Company is looking for a skilled workshop foreman, with hands on milling experience as well as excellent people skills to manage 15 workers. Bilingual is a plus. We need you to manage workshop and mill jobs and keep workers effectively moving through a full daily work load. The goal is to take a prideful "ownership" of the workshop and lighten the Project Managers load, so he can be in the field and with clients. Jeans, t-shirts, protective work boots are acceptable work attire.

 Pay Rate:

 The pay rate for this job is $20 - $25 / hour.

What you'll be doing as a Foreman:

  • Ability to read blueprints, field measure,

  • Use a variety of hand and power shop tools of carpentry trades.

  • Independently lift and maneuver large bulky and hard to grasp objects weighing up to 80 pounds or heavier if required.

  • Take great care of tools and equipment 

  • Organize wood lots and develop inventory systems

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Must be Knowledgeable in wood products, experience in shop mathematics,

  • Must be a confident self directed person, who can hit the ground running without too much direction from the Owner.

  • Must have strong organizational skills

  • Know how to use and take great care of tools and equipment

  • Must have references, must have professional, cheerful presence. 

  • Background check and drug screening required
