Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Food and Nutrition Service Team Lead you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and supervising food and nutrition service activities.

What you will do in this role:

  • As a Food and Nutrition Service Team Lead you will be responsible for maintaining or exceeding department standards for accuracy.

  • You will provide timely service and meet deadlines consistently.

  • You will demonstrate proper food handling practices. Sets the example and demonstrate work productivity for fellow employees.

  • You will be responsible for daily department functions and is able to work independently.

  • You will address scheduling needs of work area.

  • You will work in a fast paced customer service-oriented environment and to perform duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • You will understand and comply with the Methodist Healthcare code-of-conduct and model ethical behavior as expected by our patients, colleagues and the community.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • 3 years of experience in food service with hospital experience preferred.

  • Food Handlers permit or must obtain during the first two weeks of hire date.
