The Executive Fleet Quality Inspector will be a part of the Boeing Defense System team specializing with Executive Fleet aircrafts located in San Antonio, Texas .

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option. San Antonio, Texas .

Position Responsibilities:

  • This inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations

  • Performs conformity inspections as an applicant issuing FAA Form 8130-9 (Statement of Conformity)

  • Must be knowledgeable of FAA regulations and guidance to ensure compliance

  • Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions

  • Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner

  • Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished

  • Communicates deficiencies to proper persons

  • Maintains Quality Control files

  • Document results of all inspections.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship . A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

This position requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle.

The position requires compliance to SA Site Tool and FOD procedure.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience performing aircraft manufacturing operations in one or more of the following domains: Assembly, Mechanical, Electrical, Seal, Quality Assurance or Flightline environment

  • 3 + years experience with aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacements of parts

  • 3+ years of experience performing product or process inspections

  • 1 + year of experience working with and/or assisting with the conformity inspection process (FAA forms 8120-10, 8130-9, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspections

  • VIP Aircraft experience

  • 3 + years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry

  • FAA- Airframe and Powerplant License or experience to obtain Repairman's Certificate

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, technical orders, engineering drawings and blueprints

  • 1 + years of engineering process experience with the following airplane programs 737, 737 Max, 747, 767, 777, 777X, 787

  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

  • Experience with Executive Fleet aircraft

Typical Education/ Experience:

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Summary pay range: $76,900.00

Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification

$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification

$3.00/hourly for Yankee White Clearance
