Join our San Antonio-based client's Compliance Department as a Compliance Associate and play a crucial role in mitigating regulatory and reputational risk to the firm. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to review complex client documents, evaluate findings, and ensure adherence to firm and regulatory requirements. With the opportunity to learn about compliance, crminal justice, law enforcement, fraud detection, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), this role offers professional growth and the chance to advance your experience in these fields. Responsibilities

  • Perform the legal and compliance work related to the account change process for Bernstein Private Wealth Management clients including reviewing and analyzing all changes and update requests for private client discretionary accounts

  • Escalates significant research findings/concerns to Team Leader or Manager to obtain instructions on how to proceed

  • Documents results/outcomes, supervisory instructions, exception processing, or other miscellaneous comments on AWD or on hardcopy reports

  • Utilize your critical thinking skills as you review and analyze client documents, including trusts and pension plans, and respond back to questions about these documents accordingly

  • Protect the firm's reputational risk by ensuring compliance with all regulatory and firm requirements, including conducting AML due diligence for new account owners and authorized individuals

  • Showcase your relentless ingenuity by updating and implementing new processes both in legal and sales
