Pacific Seafood Branch Manager in San Antonio, Texas

A Branch Manager will successfully achieve budgeted sales, margin, and profitability goals for the branch market by assisting the General Manager in all aspects of processing, distribution, and to establish a strong team within the market.  As part of the management team and a servant leader, you will manage the branch team members, sales and operations functions, financial performance, key accounts, and targeted growth opportunities by removing obstacles to exceed budgeted targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a role model in demonstrating The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) at all times

  • Ability to perform and achieve effectively within budgetary guidelines

  • Assist in directing and managing all sales and operations with responsibilities for growing market share, customer base and financial profitability.

  • Assist to develop and control profits, plans, and budget for the efficient use of materials, machines and employees

  • Assist in establishing and monitoring overall performance for team.

  • Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses associated with a cross dock environment.

  • Under the direction of the main location General Manager, assist to coordinate production in accordance with principles, policies, and procedures established by the company and all regulatory agencies

  • Assistance with the coordination of company safety policies to eliminate unsafe behaviors and accomplish zero injury goals

  • Assist in establishing high standards for managers/supervisors by providing assignments that showcase performance and provide growth opportunities with regular feedback

  • Provide leadership, training, direction and development to staff members

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints by customers, partners and Team members

  • Ensure that all personnel comply with Federal, State and company safety rules and regulations through periodic inspections of machinery, equipment, personnel activities and working conditions

  • Attend weekly management meetings and conference calls

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required

  • Minimum of five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

  • Prior experience in the food industry.

  • Prior Operations, Sales and Purchasing experience in English and Spanish.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manages team members in the branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Pay: $86,379 - $108,838 per year
