Dispatcher

Miller’s Services is seeking an energetic and team oriented individual with dispatch experience. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, a quick learner, and the ability to deal with multiple activities at the same time. Responsibilities include dispatching of Technician's residential call-to-call, tracking each calls progress, coordinating appointments with customers via phone, email, & text, and aligning technician expertise and travel patterns to achieve optimal routing. Candidate should have flexible scheduling availability including weekends and high-demand time. Daily activities will involve working collaboratively with Service Managers, Install Team, Logistics Manager, and Customer Service Representatives, in a team atmosphere to provide WOW Customer Service and assist in increasing technician productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of technicians to customers

  • Communicating with customers to confirm and/or schedule appointments, arrivals etc.

  • Coordinate technicians call-to-call schedules and track via GPS tracking for accurate arrival times

  • Providing above-expectations customer service at all times.

  • Handling all cancelations, reschedules, and inbound calls as necessary

    Job Requirements

  • Previous dispatch experience

  • Service and/or similar industry experience preferred

  • Availability to work day, evening, night, weekend and /or holiday shifts as work demand necessitate

  • Good computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office desired

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Organizational and decision-making/problem-solving skills

  • Team-orientation with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to demonstrates initiative and accountability
