Job Summary

Provide one-on-one and small group consultations with U of U patrons seeking statistical software support.


Able to schedule appointments and meet U of U patrons at agreed time.

Create and/or revise online statistics subject guides.

Able to work with undergraduate students, graduate students, U of U staff, and faculty in providing using different statistical software programs. Answer questions on statistics and statistical analysis.

Provide at least 12 hours of statistical support each week. Cannot work more than 19 hours in a week.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate-level coursework in statistics or equivalent experience. Expertise with a variety of software packages, especiallySPSS,SAS, and Stata. Some teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
