Job SummaryThe Staff Psychologist provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, and referral information of a clinical nature through direct patient care to children referred to the University Developmental Assessment Clinics (UDAC). UDAC programs include the Child Development Program, the Neonatal Follow-up Program, and the Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program. Clinics are held in Salt Lake City and Lehi at Primary Childrens Outpatient Services Center and also through telehealth. This position will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Registered Nurses, and other Psychologists to provide assessments and diagnosis to children who have or are at high risk for developmental problems.The Department of Pediatrics is the second largest department in the University of Utah School of Medicine and one of the largest pediatric departments in the country.
