SALT LAKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE Specialist I-Pre-health Summer Program Participant (PT) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Participate in the Pre-health Summer program from June 5th -- July 21st . The purpose of Pre-health Summer Program is to increase the diversity of the healthcare workforce and improve minority employment opportunities by targeting economically and educationally disadvantaged high school students in Salt Lake County, Utah. The goal of the program is to introduce and expose students to a variety of allied health and health occupations, educational programs, and careers through a robust and transformative academic curriculum.

  1. Participate in the Pre-health Summer program from June 10th -- July 19st

  2. Attend the program from 10am -- 2:30pm Monday -- Friday.

  3. Attend the program orientation on program Graduation Ceremony

  4. Complete all program paperwork.

  5. Be punctual to class, activities, and program field trips.

  6. Actively participate in program activities.

  7. Complete the program satisfaction evaluation at the end of the program.

  8. Respect the programs staff, student peers, guest speakers and other program participants.

  9. Attend all program field trips.

  10. Reliable transportation -- SLCC provides a free public transit pass.
