Purpose of the job The CTO/ETO Proposal Specialist serves as a liaison between Rockwell Automation and Codale for creating proposals for MCCs based on customer specifications and communicating the technical proposals to customers. Key Responsibilities This position will participate in all commercial programs aligned with supporting the proposal activities for configured-to-order and engineered-to-order package solutions for drives, industrial controls, and automation products.

Extract pertinent information from technical documentation to generate bill of materials

Understands applicable industrial components, low voltage drive products and how to apply them in MCCs and other packaged solutions

Work collaboratively with other CTO/ETO specialists

Manage order entry, document review and delivery

Supports internal customers with technical quotes per requirements

Customer-centric, professionally represents self

Honest and fair in dealings with others

Ability to manage issue to resolution while providing positive customer experience

Develop, maintain, and nurture relationship with Codale partner Rockwell Automation

Proficient in using configuration tools including Power Control Builder to create proposals

Proficient in using Proposal Works to configure products and request packaged solution proposals

Accurately documents clarifications and exceptions to customer specification in proposals

Minimum work experience requirements:

2+ years of experience in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation

Ability to manage multiple partner and customer relationships while achieving outcomes

Ability to speak with customers, demonstrating technical expertise while instilling confidence and credibility

Familiarity with electricity and electrical distribution Minimum education requirements:

2 to 4-year degree preferred, but not required

Combination of skills, experience and/or education acceptable

Other skills/experience desired:

Experience with Office 365 Suite

High proficiency with Excel preferred

Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality

Possession of good sense of humor

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Possess reliable problem-solving ability
