Your Day to Day

As a Senior Legal Privacy Analyst, you would be working on :

  • Privacy Assessments and Reviews : Conduct privacy assessments, including privacy impact assessments of new and existing GoTo products, services, and processes; document results. Perform quarterly and ad hoc reviews of externally facing privacy documentation on the GoTo Trust and Privacy Center pages ( https://www.goto.com/company/trust ). Ensure all updates are timely published

  • Privacy Documentation and Processes : Support the development and maintenance of internal privacy controls and documentation, including policies, guidelines, and procedures, to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support the ongoing documentation of GoTo’s data inventory and data flow maps. Analyze system designs and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement in relation to privacy by design principles

  • Privacy Systems Administration : Administer, maintain, and provide training on GoTo’s privacy technology platforms, including the privacy and regulatory team docket, as well as data mapping and assessment technologies

  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Communications : Work closely with the Privacy and Regulatory team to identify trends in privacy and regulatory requirements and compliance enforcement and drive necessary changes in the data privacy program. Work with the Information Security, Legal, Sales, and Support/Care team members to support responses to customer inquiries and assessment requests. Communicate risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business and advise on risk mitigation strategies

What We’re Looking For

As a Senior Legal Privacy Analyst, your background will look like:

  • A Bachelor's or post-graduate degree with 3+ years’ experience in privacy program management, including experience in working with privacy technology. Experience working for a SaaS technology company is a plus

  • Understanding of privacy principles and awareness of the requirements of privacy laws and regulations applicable to GoTo, (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Privacy certification from the IAPP or equivalent (CIPM, CIPP/E/A/US) and experience with Artificial Intelligence a plus

  • Experience conducting privacy impact assessments, legitimate interest assessments, transfer impact assessments, data mapping, and ROPA development

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including organization, prioritization, attention to detail, exceptional judgement and a strong sense of accountability. Comfort with ambiguity and building processes from scratch; desire to learn and try new things; ability to continually assess, reassess, and pivot when needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with various stakeholders. Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English is required.

Annual Base Salary Range: $93,000.00 - $153,500.00

The above shows our ranges from minimum to maximum. Your compensation will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for a variable pay component and benefits.
