JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for its Technology & Products Service Line in Wood's Salt Lake City Office. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing Process Design or Basic Design Packages relating to Wood's proprietary technologies as well as miscellaneous engineering projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

The Project manager applies knowledge of the organization's work processes and business practices and a solid understanding of the roles and functions of assigned human resources to plan, organize, direct and control all activities on assigned project(s) Work closely and effectively with customers, vendors and subcontractors Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards Responsible for meeting or exceeding as-sold financial objective, timely delivery and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction Use sound judgment concerning the need to consult with management and other experts Day-to-day supervision is administrative and consultative While accepting responsibility for all phases of the project, recognizes that the various department managers have ultimate responsibility, through the assigned managing and lead project team members, for the technical adequacy of the work and may, therefore, monitor the work related to their discipline at any time

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering Previous project management experience on a variety of projects Must be able to deal with a variety of domestic and foreign clients Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
