Flexan Production Lead - 2nd Shift in Salt Lake City, Utah

Flexan is a global strategic contract manufacturer of custom high-quality silicone and thermoplastic components, sub-assemblies and devices designed to meet the critical requirements of Class I, Class II and Class III medical devices, as well as custom compounding and molding for precision parts.

The Production Lead will oversee the day to day responsibilities of the assigned production line.  This is to be accomplished by coordinating the team, delegating tasks and managing hourly shift employees.

 

SHIFT:

Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am

 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work in a cleanroom environment and follow the guidelines and rules for working in the cleanroom.

  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the assigned production line. This is to be accomplished by coordinating the team, delegating tasks, and managing junior personnel.

  • Responsible for the onboarding and training of new employees

  • Work with the Production Supervisor to make sure the daily/shift production goals are met

  • Ensure the production processes meet quality standards

  • Supply workers with necessary materials and ensure correct materials are present

  • Ensure employees are in position on time after breaks and lunch at startup

  • Relieve staff as necessary

  • Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma/GED

  • Ability to remain flexible to change in duties, workflow, and priorities

  • Ability to work overtime when necessary

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to read and write in English
