This faculty member will serve as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor and be responsible for high-volume clinical activity within the realm of pediatric urology. This will involve seeing patients in clinics at Primary Children’s Medical Center and the Lehi Children’s Hospital. It will involve a very robust surgical practice based at these same centers. We would anticipate 4-4.5 days of clinical activity each week with 0.5-1 days reserved for academic/administrative time. This faculty member would be expected to develop a strong regional and national referral practice in reconstructive urology.

On the educational front, this faculty member will be responsible for teaching residents and our pediatrics fellow state of the art care, practice and patient-centered behavior. This will include didactic lectures and one-on-one teaching in both the clinic and operating room settings. We would expect this faculty member to also educate staff members on best care of the problems seen within the clinic.

On an academic front, this endourologist hire will focus on clinical research, and or education activities including outcomes, health services research or other clinically-related quality improvement and other endeavors. The faculty member will work with some residents to increase their participation in research and be sure that our pediatric service publishes and reports important data that moves the field forward.
