WTW Marketing Operations Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Leader, we are seeking a marketing specialist to join our member marketing and communications teams. In this role, you will primarily execute email marketing campaigns to promote products/services and drive customer engagement and action. In addition, you will assist the marketing operations leader in executing multichannel client communications. This position is remote, with the potential to work in our Salt Lake City, UT office in the future.

The Role

  • Execute/fulfill client communications with a heavy emphasis on email initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop email marketing strategies that align with business goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, copy, design elements, and calls to action.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including CAN-SPAM.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

  • Use SQL, flat file structure, and formatting to personalize communications.

  • Optimize and own the email q/a and governance process.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

  • Proven experience in email marketing, preferably in the B2B or B2C environment.

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.

  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, Hubspot) and marketing automation tools.

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on quality and accuracy.

  • Excellent proofreading skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work across the organization and unite teams to support a common objective.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience driving projects from start to finish, even when faced with deep complexity and ambiguity.

  • Can articulate the principles of data for variable printing output to delivery channel.

  • Understanding of direct mail and print production and fulfillment processes a big plus.
