THE OPPORTUNITY AT STEEL ENCOUNTERS

The Maintenance Technician , will work on Fabrication Facility maintenance operations and processes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your experience to ensure uptime and preventative maintenance of machines, electrical systems, tooling, and equipment that will improve our efficiencies and throughput. The position activities include repairs, and installation of Fabrication Facility operational equipment. The candidate should have experience in CNC machinery, tooling, electrical systems, material handling equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Perform maintenance care operations at the Fabrication Facility and ensure reliability of all operational equipment

  • Support predictive maintenance programs and transformation initiatives

  • Conduct regular inspections on machines, equipment, cranes, and forklifts at the facility. Plan and manage repairs if necessary.

  • Support implementation of standard operating procedures

  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs

  • Support inventory and replenishment of equipment and spare parts

  • Additional duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Experience in plant maintenance initiatives

  • Good analytical skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of maintenance initiatives through continuous improvement efforts or emerging technologies

  • Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills

  • Able to use Microsoft Office required.

  • Wage negotiable - based on experience
