Fabrication Specialist A

Responsibilities:

Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. Prepare aircraft parts for painting. Make necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes. Perform machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion. Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepare test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests. Perform composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements. Build commercial aerospace products with cutting edge technology and a great team.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED Experience with hand tools preferred Familiar with blueprint interpretation Assembly experience preferred Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred Positive team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment
