Job Description:

The Electronics Technician will perform test and debug operations on a variety of LRU, circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. The candidate will be required to read and interpret diagrams, tables, schematics, and test results and work from written test procedures and engineering instructions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to L3 policies and procedures including calibration of equipment, ESD, FOD, and housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the area supervisor or manager. Must have basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Essential Functions:

The Electronics Technician will perform test and debug operations on a variety of LRU, circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent

  • 2 years related experience preferred in RF and digital signals

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or certificate from an accredited two-year technical or military electronics program with specialist knowledge of electronics and mechanics and a demonstrated ability to comprehend schematics, logic drawings, wire lists, and prints.

  • Basic electronic knowledge of RF and digital signals.

  • Basic understanding of basic Analog, Digital, and RF circuitry.

  • Comfortable using test equipment including RF signal generator, spectrum analyzers, power meters, power supplies, voltage meters and oscilloscopes.

  • Comfortable using PC based applications and able to learn custom test software.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Effective communication skills to expeditiously coordinate efforts through all phases of the debug process.

  • Ability to prioritize work, be flexible and productive with little supervision.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
