Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee manufacturing lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of workers. This role is crucial in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a positive work environment.

Essential Functions:

Supervision and Management:

+ + Oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assign tasks and manage workflow to meet production schedules and targets.

  • Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

    Quality Control:

    • Monitor quality control processes and procedures.
  • Address and resolve any production issues or defects promptly.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety inspections and training sessions for staff.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic plans.

    Team Leadership:

    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff.

  • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts when necessary.

    Working Conditions:

  • This position requires standing and walking for extended periods.

  • The work environment may be noisy and involve exposure to machinery.

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.

  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in manufacturing or management is a plus.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
