WOLFF EXCAVATING, INC. CDL A Truck Driver - Dump Truck - Side Dump in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields is preferred
  • Commercial driver's license, Class A with medical card
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic
  • Upon job offer, must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening tests, driving record review, and consent to a FMCSA query
  • Must not be under 21 years of age
  • Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Have reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck (26,000 pounds GVW and up): primarily dump truck, side dump, and transport.
  • Properly track and document activity
  • Report any issues or incidents to the truck supervisor or office
  • Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Perform basic maintenance on trucks/trailers
  • Maintain a safe driving record
  • Physical labor as needed
  • Abide by all company safety procedures, including a zero tolerance for harassment and violence
  • Wear personal protective equipment, clothing, and footwear as required
  • Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration
