Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Multiple Positions Available. Responsible for contributing to the development, support, maintenance and testing of software solutions in support of the different Firm Wealth businesses. Contribute to every stage of the software development life cycle (SDLC) process, including gathering requirements, software design, implementation, testing, version control, release management, and production support. Provide business and analytical support to assigned functional area of the Firm by conducting strategic and tactical platform design and analysis. Provide daily support to the various wealth management platforms and promptly resolve issues that may arise. Participate in development, software testing and support of server-side systems in a dynamic distributed environment utilizing Java frameworks (including Spring IoC or Reladomo), Kafka messaging, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as Sybase and MongoDB.

 

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related software development role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related software development role. Prior experience must include one (1) year with Master's degree or three (3) years with Bachelor's degree with the following: Utilizing object-oriented programming languages, including Java, Scala, C# or similar, to develop software; Working with Database Management Systems (DBMS) including Sybase, MongoDB, MySQL or similar; Using tools and techniques for automated regression testing of back-end services; Using one or more software version control technologies including Concurrent Version System (CVS), Apache SVN, Git, or similar; Working through the full software development including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; and working on a global software development team and communicating status and design effectively with other teams.
