What Sales Compensation contributes to Cardinal Health

Sales Administration/Operations is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, business metrics/analytics, and rewards architecture.

Sales Compensation for at-Home Solutions is responsible for identifying needs, designing, developing and implementing sales compensation, performance and reward/recognition architecture that attracts, retains and motivates sales individuals and teams to drive superior performance and results and aligns with business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in annual sales compensation plan design process.

  • Translate compensation plan designs into detailed reporting requirements.

  • Build financial templates and models to calculate sales compensation payouts based on plan designs.

  • Pull and analyzes data from various sources to calculate sales compensation payouts on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Support process for measuring sales compensation plan effectiveness.

  • Create and maintain SOP for sales compensation calculation and administration.

  • Assist in the development and management of a robust compensation governance model.

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure best practices and controls are regularly reviewed, implemented and followed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of general business experience preferred

  • Sales compensation administration experience preferred

  • Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, Macros, Formulas)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Must have the ability to interpret data and ask questions regarding outliers

  • Strong curiosity in the "why" of the data that is presented

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Anticipated salary range: $65,500 - $93,500
