Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Support university retention and graduation goals. * Process refunds requested manually or via the system in a timely and efficient manner. * Research and resolve account discrepancies. * Maintain accurate accounting documents and records. * Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and procedures. * Attend and participate in meetings as required. * Backup and assist other functions as needed. * Complete any special projects or reports as needed for Supervisor. * Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Strong understanding of accounting theory, practices, and procedures. * Strong account analysis experience. * Organized, detailed and deadline oriented. * Ability to think critically and use data to make informed decisions. * Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direction from manager, as well as participate as a team. * Comfortable working with others over the telephone, have a clear speaking voice and a personable demeanor. * Dedicated to excellent, accurate and efficient customer service. * Ability to perform record-keeping tasks with a high level of accuracy. * High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
