Physical Therapy Aide Job
The Physical Therapy Aide will be responsible for providing support to physical therapists and physical therapist assistants by performing a variety of tasks related to patient care, office administration, and patient education. Additionally, the PT Aide will assist with cleaning and maintaining the physical therapy clinic and equipment.
Physical Therapy Aide Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care as instructed by a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant, such as assisting with exercises, helping with transfers, and providing support during treatments.
  • Clean and maintain the physical therapy clinic and equipment, as well as ensure that the clinic is in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with office tasks such as phone calls, sending faxes, and general office organizational activities.

Applicants must have excellent and professional telephone and customer service skills, written communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and take directives from physical therapists, office manager and other staff members.

  • Applicants must agree to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and have high regard for ethical behavior. Applicants must be able to pass a background and drug test.
  • This position is a part time position. The applicant will be required to work 8-5, 2-4 days a week.
  • Hourly wage will be based on experience.
  • Eligible for matching retirement after a year of employment.
