Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Salisbury, North Carolina

Immediate Maintenance Technician Needed

-8:00am-5:00pm (M-F)

Description:

• Plant mechanic with focus on preventative and repair maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyors, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Install parts/instruments according to schematics or operation manual

• Follow blueprints, sketches, job requests, code book or operation manuals

• Maintain records of PM and unscheduled maintenance work

• Order parts or supplies when necessary

• Assist production as necessary to maintain material throughput

• Assist production as needed with equipment set-ups or root cause analysis

• Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Coordinate maintenance activities with management and production team to maximize utilization of plant equipment and operating efficiency

• Must adhere to safe working policies and procedures

• Actively participate and support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable OSHA (federal and state), company, and environmental policies and procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Company: We melt and refine ingot and slab; manufacture mill products; and support our customers through a worldwide network of service centers and manufacturing facilities. Specializing in Aerospace, Military, Titanium products. This location, is currently driving business with military Jet Engines.
