Lead Maintenance Technician

1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday)

A large manufacturing facility located in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for its 1st shift team. Qualified candidates must have previous leadership and/or training experience and must be willing to be hands on as well.

Hours will be 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday and starting pay will range from $30.00-$32.00/hr based on experience

Job Description:

  • Direct employees in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and

  • equipment.

  • Direct employees engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.

  • Assist employees in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.

  • Responsible for scheduling, maintaining, repairing, and overall operation of assigned machinery and equipment.·

  • Responsible for completion of work orders and associated preventive maintenance paperwork.

  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

  • Enforce safety regulations.

  • Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.

  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.

  • Coordinate activities of employees in making repairs to buildings.

  • Comply with established safety rules.

  • Comply with company policy and procedures.

  • Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and Superintendent.

  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of Superintendent.
