Summary

Perdue AgriBusiness has an exciting opportunity for Parts Room Clerk at our facility located in Salisbury, MD . This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the purchase of supplies and equipment.

The hours are 7am - 4pm

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming freight shipments from vendors

  • Issue parts and tools

  • Conduct inventories

  • Inspect, issue, collect and maintain hand tools, sling harnesses, and other maintenance related equipment

  • Stock incoming parts and equipment on shelves and material racks

  • Monitor and investigate non-moving parts in the parts room

  • Provide backup data entry support for the Purchasing Agent and Maintenance Planning Clerk

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Education

  • High school graduate or GED

  • Mechanical, Technical, Maintenance background preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 1 -3 years experience

  • Understanding of standard software applications

  • Strong math, communication, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Valid state driver's license

  • Able to be certified to operate a fork lift

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Able to move freely throughout the facility

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Chemicals (SDS sheets available)
