Part Time CNA (Stansell House Ocean Pines, MD)

Coastal Hospice has an opportunity for a PT NIGHT (8p-8a) CNA at our Stansell House inpatient facility in Ocean Pines

Generous shift differentials!

Duties include:

  • Providepersonal care, assistance with activities of daily living, homemaking and related assistance to patients
  • Providedirect patient care as instructed by a RN and/or physical therapist
  • Provideemotional support to the patient and family which requires effective human relations skill.
  • Provide1:1 care and other patient/family assistance as assigned
  • Communicateeffectively and timely with supervising nurse and other hospice aides by:
    • Documenting services clearly and accurately by the end of each shift
    • Promptly reporting any significant change in patients condition

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID vaccination
  • Current CNA certification in Maryland
  • Successful completion of training required by hospice regulations and standards.
  • Ability to understand and follow spoken and written instructions
  • The ability to lift, push, pull or move patients, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of 50 pounds with or without the use of adaptive/assistive devices.
