1 Vision Aviation is currently seeking: Parts Clerk

Job Summary: This Position will be responsible for receiving and verifying material, stocking parts into inventory and preparing and sending out parts shipment orders. In addition, working with our Aircraft mechanics on the shop floor and answering department phone calls.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

Receiving parts and verifying accuracy of orders and entering them into inventory.

Track shipments to ensure parts are received timely and accurately.

Stock and organize parts in the stock room.

Organize shipments, including packaging and labeling.

Prepare return shipments to vendors.

Processes transfer requests to/from other Company locations.

File and track freight claims with carriers when there are discrepancies, damaged or missing items.

Notify customers when ordered parts are ready for pickup.

Participate in counting parts for physical inventory.

Assists with ordering parts as needed.

Repackage loose or partial parts.

Maintains a clean environment in the work area and parts department.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree preferred.

Qualifications:

Must be a team player, have a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task and solve problems.

Accuracy in attention to detail

Organizational skills

Basic Computer skills

Basic math skills

Customer service skills

Ability to see, with or without the use of vision aid devices

Ability to meet deadlines

Physical Demands-This position requires an employee to frequently stand, walk, sit, kneel and bend. The use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools and controls. Candidates must possess the ability to lift parts overhead up to 50 pounds.

Full time offering flexibility with overtime including weekends.
