Role: Commercial and Subcontract Senior Analyst
Summary of Role:
Working under general direction manages low value routine contracts and subcontracts. Supports Commercial/Subcontract Managers to manage high value/ complex contracts/subcontracts and to respond to requests for proposals.
Main Duties:
Support to Subcontract Managers in preparation and assessment of Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
Placement and maintenance of low value Purchase Orders
Administration of standard due diligence activity
Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
Management and measurement of supplier delivery performance
Administration of acceptance and receipt of goods and services
Maintenance of records
Attends customer, supplier and internal reviews in support of Subcontract Manager
Support to Commercial Managers in preparation of responses to Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
Management of low value Contracts
Administration of standard due diligence activity
Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
Measurement of Contract performance
Administration of delivery, acceptance and invoicing of goods and services
Maintenance of records
Attendance at customer and internal reviews in support of Contract Manager
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
Good general office skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to work in a team
Good verbal and written communications
Flexible and positive attitude
Experience of Contract Management and delivery/ acceptance/ invoicing processes
Basic understanding of logistics
Basic knowledge of standard agreement types
Experience of MRP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
Desirable:
Basic understanding of supplier evaluation and selection
Experience of negotiation
Experience of financial management
Basic knowledge of programme management skill set to include risk management
Awareness of Import/ Export Legislation
