Oracle DevOps Analyst - System Analyst II - Night Shift in Salem, Oregon

Job Description

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Health Data Intelligence Platform. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an upbeat and creative environment. As a System Analyst II, you will be the technical resource for supervising and deploying production systems and applications for our clients. Your primary tasks will include:

  • On-call and support of applications and infrastructure

  • Application deployment and monitoring

  • Security patching

  • Liaison between the US Federal Cloud support and core Application and Infrastructure development teams.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship on U.S. soil is required. This position requires you to be eligible to receive a federal security clearance which requires you to be a U.S. Citizen.

  • At least 4 years total combined completed higher education and/or related work experience including:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent meaningful work experience.

  • Good knowledge and hands-on Experience with Linux and SQL

  • At least 1 year of experience in Application Support and CI/CD pipelines or Infrastructure Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in technologies and design concepts around Container Platforms, Big Data processing, and relational databases, such as the Hadoop ecosystem, Map/Reduce, stream processing, etc.

  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, or Ruby.

  • Experience with production operations and good practices for putting quality code into production and solving issues when they arise.

  • Ability to collaborate optimally with the team and other collaborators.

  • Preferably, production experience with Cloud and data processing technologies.

Expectations:

  • 5-5-4-night shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local laws

  • Work following corporate and interpersonal security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position

Responsibilities

The Health Data and Intelligence Platform is eager to hire a System Analyst II. You will provide technical support for internal tools/applications and processes. In this role, you will proactively supervise system/application alarms, and investigate, analyze, resolve or raise alarms and service requests. Perform deployment tasks in line with Oracle Release to Production SOPs and Work plans. Your responsibility also includes prioritizing and supervising the work queue under service-level agreements, detailing investigation and issue resolution, prioritizing issues to appropriate second-level resources for resolution, and investigating and diagnosing performance issues of tools/applications. Additionally, you will fix this by capturing information, testing workflows internally/externally, analyzing log files, querying tables, and updating database fields.

US: Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
