Position Description

The Beverage Shift Manager is responsible for all beverage operations for their shift. Monitor and ensure quality and efficiency of all aspects of the beverage department and property. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Position Requirements

Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.

Education/Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.

  • High School diploma or its equivalency required.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Three (3) to five (5) years in the field of food and beverage.

  • Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

    Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.

  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.

  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
