Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Quality Supervisor to join our leadership team in St. Peters, MO. The Quality Supervisor provides the leadership necessary to establish and maintain quality levels of products from the supply to the customer by driving an effective quality system. In this role, you are responsible for quality compliance of all functions and driving continuous improvement to support our receiving, value services (kitting and labeling), rework, and shipping operations throughout the distribution center. The successful candidate will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and open communication, promoting employee engagement and a focus on quality to meet business objectives. This position reports directly to the Distribution Site Leader with matrix reporting to the Supply Quality Leader. This position may require periodic weekend/evening work.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the assurance of continuous improvement toward defect-free processes that create loyal customers and promote a learning culture.

• Develop a system for quality performance metrics and coordinate performance improvement initiatives.

• Manage the resolution and follow-up of quality issues with internal and external customers and suppliers.

• Manage, mentor, and develop associates; lead the assessment and establishment of education, training, and skills profiles for hourly quality technicians.

• Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls.

• Ensure a safe environment for employees through adherence to safety policies, assessing and eliminating hazards, and improving housekeeping standards.

• Develop and lead Material Review Board meetings, reviewing quality events to drive corrective action and proper disposition of nonconforming material.

• Provide guidance and support in responding to deviations associated with warehouse and materials management operations.

• Drive and oversee improvements in warehouse and materials management processes, procedures, and work instructions.

• Notify Quality Management of any quality issues that may be regulatory significant or impact the acceptability of products or materials.

• Provide training regularly regarding products and packages to protect guidelines

• Ability to analyze and solve problems related to distribution, quality, cycle time and key metrics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation & Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related area of study

• 4-6 years of experience in supply chain coordination with quality assurance in a lead/management role.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Order Management Systems, and ERP systems a plus

Essential Skills or Knowledge:

• Motivated self-starter able to prioritize projects, accept responsibility, and follow through without close supervision.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Order Management Systems, and ERP systems a plus

• Highly articulate verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects.

• Ability to research and analyze information and draw valid conclusions and recommendations.

• Desire to continually learn and expand knowledge base.

• Hands-on knowledge of UL, CE, and transportation regulations a plus

• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools a plus

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary.
