ABM Industries Surveillance System Monitor in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Overview

Position Summary Details:

The Surveillance System Monitor will be responsible for monitoring surveillance cameras and providing customer service within airport public parking.

Shift:

Thursday and Friday - 6 am to 2:30 pm AND Saturday and Sunday - 2pm to 10:30 pm

Essential Duties:

  • Observe multiple television screens that transmit in sequence views of parking facility sites

  • Answer call from "Call-for-assistance" stations, located throughout the parking ramps and take appropriate responsive actions

  • Contact police or other appropriate agency of location and nature of disruptive activity

  • Adjust monitor controls when required to improve reception, and notify repair service of equipment malfunctions

  • Operate switchboard and handle outgoing, interoffice, or incoming calls

  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication

  • Provide general parking information to customers

  • Must be attentive and detailed oriented

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One Year of Similar Experience

  • Ability to think quickly and act independently to make sound decisions.

  • Ability to to multi-task a variety of recurring technical activities
