Aerotek Production Maintenance Technician in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Position: Production Maintenance Technician (Direct Placement)

Openings:

  • x1 1st Shift: 6:30AM-2:30PM (Monday-Friday)

  • x1 Later 1st Shift: 7:30AM-3:30PM (Monday-Friday)

Pay Range: $33-$38 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, complex troubleshooting, redesign, and implement improvements on mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems, develop/improve preventative maintenance and machine rebuild/tuning/alignment procedures. Act as a technical resource for Production Operators and assist the Engineering group in process operations / machine improvements and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience with an Associates Technical Degree or Certification Program - OR - 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing field

  • 3 years of industrial electrical experience

  • A strong working knowledge in electronics, sensors, high / low voltage, welding and common machine shop equipment.

  • 3 years of die cutting, converting, or packaging maintenance technician experience

  • Knowledge of Pneumatics

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Skilled in electronic, electrical, machine tool and precision measuring

  • Skilled in using electronic devices for troubleshooting and problem solving

  • Experience working in a Current Good Manufacturing Environment (cGMP)

  • Basic knowledge of PLC Programming & Operations

  • Preferred:

  • Experience working in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge and abilities to implement ECO changes

  • Skilled in welding - TIG, MIG, & Stick

  • Holiday Pay:

  • 1-5 years = 80 hours

  • 6-11 years = 120 hours

  • 12-25 years = 160 hours

  • 25+ = 200 hours

  • The company will provide educational assistance in the form of reimbursement to eligible employees up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year, for coursework at a degree or certificate granting institution at either high school, vocational, college or graduate level.
