ManpowerGroup Product and Process Engineer in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Our client,a leading barcode manufacturer is seeking a Product and Process Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, technical knowledge and be self motivated which will align successfully in the organization.

Product and Process Engineer

Saint Paul, MN (hybrid)

Full-Time- Perm Role

Travel: up to 20%

Pay: $100,000- $130,000

What’s the Job?

  • Understand a prospective customer’s business problems and map them to RFID enabled solutions.

  • Design, install, and support passive RFID systems with an emphasis on HF and UHF at customer locations.

  • Work with end-users to ensure the success of their application. Provide verbal, written, and on-site instruction to troubleshoot any issues.

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of products available internally and in the industry.

  • Perform tests to ensure RFID products meet customer requirements.

  • Provide on-site support to St. Paul, Minnesota manufacturing site to improve production and optimize efficiency.

  • Assist in value chain mapping and supply chain strategy for RFID labels (inlays, labels, converters, locations, etc.)

  • Determine optimal modes and settings of RFID readers for applications using the manufacturer's demo programs and SDKs. Transfer knowledge to software development engineers.

What’s Needed?

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred or related field with emphasis on electromagnetic field theory.

  • Radio frequency identification experience is a plus

  • Background in security and technology.

  • Software experience with C#, Java, JavaScript, and ZPL.

  • Thermal transfer printer experience using SATO, Zebra, and TSC Printronix printers.

  • Strong technical knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
