Benefit Eligible Retirement Benefits Only FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Summary Obtain, maintain, and evaluate clinical sites and relationships with clinical agencies; organize clinical placements for students; facilitate student and preceptor on-boarding in conjunction with each site; maintain student clinical experience tracking system, including assisting with student orientations and running reports. Responsibilities Obtain and maintain student clinical placements through established criteria and policy for clinical sites, with oversight of the Clinical Director. Serve as liaison between students, faculty, and clinical agencies. Develop ongoing relationships with all parties and problem-solve issues that arise with clinical placement. Maintain vetting and ongoing clinical site and preceptor evaluation in conjunction with Clinical Director. Maintain student clinical experience tracking system, including assisting with student orientations and running reports. Work with the Clinical Director to provide orientation for clinical agency preceptors, as well as maintain the policy manual for preceptors. Work with the Clinical Director to ensure that all ACME requirements regarding clinical agencies are met. Attend nurse-midwifery team meetings, clinical team meetings, and on-campus student intensives. Maintain consistent communication with Clinical Director. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Ability to communicate and guide adult students in an on-line environment. Strong oral and written communication skills and professionalism are essential, as this position interacts with many clinical agencies, preceptors and other members in a health-care and academic setting. Excellent managerial and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience and confidence with technology including Microsoft Office and Excel and learning new platforms/systems. Ability to develop and maintain policy for assessment of clinical sites. Demonstrated ability to identify problems and recommend solutions in situations that include multiple parties in the health care setting (or transferable settings). Experience Required Experience: 1+ years of experience working in an office setting. Preferred Experience: 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role. Education Required Education: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Education: A bachelor's degree. Additional Information Occasional travel is needed to clinical sites.
