Job Description SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Specialist, is responsible for overseeing the processing of daily invoices and disbursement transactions, assists in metrics reporting, and the timely payment of vendors, and Expense Reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • Assumes ownership for both invoice and expense reports.
  • Monitors NetSuite status to ensure workflow activity of expense reports; Enforces compliance with documented corporate policies for all practices.
  • Works closely with team member to ensure all of the Company's disbursement and payment goals and policies are met.
  • Provides support to team members as needed.
  • Processes payment of approved Expense reports.
  • Periodically prepares reports and statistics on the daily, weekly, and monthly activities of the department.
  • Maintains proper and complete record-keeping in support of all disbursement transactions and the department's activities.
  • Reviews account coding and coordinates proper general ledger coding.
  • Performs duties in compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as maintaining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma AND
  • Five (5) years of Accounts Payable experience OR
  • Equivalent education and experience.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Good time management and organizational skills; Must be able to handle multiple tasks and schedule activities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be exacting, thorough and attentive to detail, while still meeting deadlines

  • Highly ethical professional with strong business acumen
  • Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and in a rapidly changing organization

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate this position will pay between $19.48 - $32.35 per hour. This is a temporary/contractor role and you will be an employee of Randstad. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
