Description We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, 63141-6727, United States. This role involves writing code, creating detailed design documents, and delivering high-quality applications in the telecom industry. The Sr. Software Engineer will also work with embedded hardware and have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Write efficient and maintainable code in languages such as C, C++, C#, and Java

• Design and document software components in detail

• Solve complex problems and analyze algorithms

• Develop high-quality applications in the telecom industry

• Work with embedded hardware and ensure its smooth interfacing with software components

• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes

• Liaise with Product Managers to understand end-user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features

• Test, debug, and build code that works across multiple browsers and digital platforms

• Understand and adapt to the evolving needs of the telecom industry

• Stay updated on new technologies and software development practices Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of software engineering.

• Proficient in C++, C Sharp Programming (C#), and Java.

• Demonstrable experience in algorithm development.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and techniques.

• Ability to design, develop, and implement complex software systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.

• Experience in leading teams and projects is a plus.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles is beneficial.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
